Learn with us at Music Generation Limerick City – creative, high quality, affordable music lessons.
The Creative Centre on Cecil Street has built a reputation for fun, engaging learning provided by celebrated musicians. Our ethos is simple – creative learning, lead by the needs of the child taught by engaged and engaging professional musicians. Musical skills and technique are developed through practical musicmaking and focused development. In this way we lay the ground for a life time of expressive music-making. We are especially proud of our record in retaining students as they go through their teenage years (often a time of drop-off), as well as our success with young people who do not resonate with more exam or competition focused approaches.
Each half-hour lesson is charged to the parents at less than half the total cost, thanks to support from Music Generation and the Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board.
Our team of musicians are all active practitioners in the music business, consistently producing high quality and critically acclaimed releases and performing all over the country and indeed, the world. The tutor team bring this wealth of experience to their lessons, ensuring a rich and practical learning experience for participants.
